West Vancouver School District leverages Scholaris for blended learning initiative - 01/07/2008

West Vancouver School District is using Scholaris to provide the applications and environment for their blended learning environment. Blended learning is based on the goals of leveraging technology while maintaining the benefits of face to face interactions. In West Vancouver, teachers are combining the “bricks and mortar” teaching skills with the power of Scholaris and the results look very promising. Students are being provided increasing flexibility, personalization, and ownership over their learning while teachers are provided the ability to truly mentor, advise, and teach their students through a combination of whole class, small group, individual and online learning activities.
